Morocco's Atlantic Coast
Firstly, congratulations to Ms Love's aunt for being the first to post. As you can see, we're in Morocco. And Keitho - I give you my personal guarantee that you won't have to wait 'til May. Maybe.
Things here are pretty relaxed. Even in the relatively uninspiring Casablanca. Still, it was worth a visit (for the Art Deco) even if our 'hotel' wasn't. After a couple of nights there we moved down the coast to El Jadida - a place that the Rough Guide described as 'stylish and beautiful'. Based on our observations, and the fact that the next town was described as 'stunningly picturesque', we decided to bypass it and head straight for Essaouira. This involved a five hour bus journey, the only incident of note being after we'd stopped for an apparently scheduled 1 hour lunch break. On returning from les toilettes I found the bus launching up the road and Lucinda having a heart attack trying to get the bussie to stop. Strangely, Luce's cries of 'un moment un moment' didn't seem to hold much sway, but suffice to say I managed to clamber on.
Essaouira is a small quaint town half way down the coast. Despite this it's not overrun with tourists. Although this might have something to do with it being out of season at the moment. Which also means that it's baltic at night. Essaouira is famed (apparently) for its wood products. So one might describe it as box heaven - or box hell, depending with whom you empathise. On which note, I'd better go and check to see if my rucksack hasn't become suspiciously heavy.
Au revoir

Rather a sad commentary on your life when even the Moroccan bus drivers instinctively know to leave you behind, isn't it?
Ms. Love's Aunt
Ms. Love's Aunt
Will & Lucinda/Pete & Ms Love ...
Are you both going to spend the next few months dropping everything to get to a cybercafe to post on each other's websites?
Perhaps when you return you could have your own special awards dinner too (best diary entry, best photo, best comment received from UK, Cananda, best birthday message etc .... )
Will, congrats on the photos - more than exceeded expectations.
PS apparently I've dropped Pete on his blogspot in it on the worldwide Travelodge ban - we'll leave them guessing that it might have had something to do with you for a few more weeks yet....!
Cracking nosebag
